I first used Travel FX in October and it was the first time I had opted for an Online company as opposed to a high street shop so was a little apprehensive, however everything was super effecient and so easy and I had absolutely no need to worry!!

I have just ordered from them again and will continue to use this company as it couldn't be simpler, plus they offer great rates and deliver to you so you don't even have to leave your seat!! Have already recommended Travel FX to others!!! This rate is only available online. T Last updated Tue, 02 Oct Breakdown of costs This amount includes all fees and charges taken by Travel FX. The final amount is calculated as: About Post Office Founded: Just tried to purchase Euros using my debit card after a long wait in the post office Camden.

Was told at the counter that I need a passport ID to use my debit card to draw money. Keeping in mind that I can use the same debit card to withdraw cash at the cash point in this branch and then exchange the cash without ID, this is not only frustrating but also a waste of time. Buy your Euros elsewhere and save the wait. My thoughts on this card are frankly unprintable. Your customer service is lamentable, your security non-existent and you do not keep promises to deal on time with complaints.

Despite there being a substantial credit balance on the card to my immense embarrassment it was declined twice in the same shop France. My card was cloned and it ended up being used by fraudsters in Miami immediately afterwards.

Initially you declined its use nine times within a 24 hour period but ultimately two payments were sanctioned and the entire remaining balance plus some extra was permitted to be withdrawn.

Transferwise allows an immediate transfer via credit card payment, unfortunately only up to EUR for my chosen Mastercard. Which other providers offer credit card payments as well?

Thanks for your comment. You have an interesting problem. You want speed and a low fee to send to BRL. You may find that it is slightly more costly for less used corridors and this fee will fluctuate during global events such as the recent impeachment of Dilma Rousseff.

And speed also comes at a cost to the transfer. Using Credit cards will increase the transfer costs. You want to keep costs to a minimum. If you can use a debit card, you can give Currencies Direct a call to find out what rates they will offer sending to BRL.

It certainly is a difficult question to answer due to the currency controls that seem to be surrounding BRL. Ultimately, I would suggest you do not use a credit card to transfer funds in to a global money transfer provider.

Please comment again with your experience and who you have chosen to do your transfers. This may help others in your position. Use your Debit Card to send larger amounts. It looks like WorldFirst. They support the SAR. You would need to call them to see if they can send to to a Chinese bank account. I have to transfer my money from Brazil to USA.

Normally I use TransferWise but I want to try other similar services. Due to the currency controls in Brazil, not many global providers offer local settlement in Brazil. TransferWise would be the cheapest option to move money outside of Brazil. However, there is a cap on the amount you can send a month due to government restrictions.

I have a friend moving from Brazil to Australia and has the very same problem. He also uses TransferWise. If you do find a better option, it would be great if you could report back here to let everyone know. I just transfered four full loads maximum amount of money allowed in my country with four different accounts yes, I managed to persuade 4 friends to sign up.

I have my bank account in the United States but I live in Mexico and therefore need to transfer money to Mexico quite often. Thanks for your question. TransferWise has an excellent online customer experience and is fantastic offering great rates, low fees, especially when transferring the smaller sums.

Unfortunately, they do not handle automated regular money transfers. When sending from the US, there are many choices. For the regular automated transfers, and a chance to chat to someone about your requirements, call and compare WorldFirst and OFX. Both are leading global money transfer and exchange companies that have a presence in the USA. If this does not suit your needs, then give OFX a call. Mention you were referred by iCompareFX and you may get a better rate on offer.
